Fight for His Ohana

Description

I watched Lilo & Stitch 2 yesterday so, of course, I wanna draw. :3 I didn't have any particular back-story in mind when I started it, but by the time I was shading it I had an idea for one. Its probably over the top since the Lilo and Stitch canon is very light and happy, but if anyone is interested here's the idea that came to mind:

The apocalypse occurs, what ever it might be (zombie, alien invasion, natural disaster, disease, etc.).  Humanity is in chaos. People are breaking into homes, looting, and killing each other for resources. Stitch does everything in his power to keep his Ohana safe. Sometimes that means simply finding food and shelter, maybe even keeping them alive through natural disasters. Other times it means fighting with and taking resources from others to provide for Nani and Lilo, and killing those who would try to hurt them. Stitch gets to see the ugly side of humanity for the first time and decides that any humans other than Nani and Lilo are not to be trusted. Anyone that crosses their path must be incapacitated or, if necessary, terminated.

Niiiiice. :D :D

I like how in your art style here, Stitch has a sort of slight gangly but disproportionate look to him with the shapes of his arms and especially the way his legs have an almost balloon-pants shape to them, but overall Stitch in your style still looks faithful to the Disney model - a good balance of the franchise's style and your own style. I also love how the line-shading in this pic in certain spots on Lilo and Nani looks like slight bruises and batters, and I quite like the expressiveness in the characters' faces. Stitch really just has that pure "Don't mess with my family" look in his face, and with Lilo and Nani, there's a subtle sadness or confusion in both their faces, but Lilo looks more doe-eyed and innocent while with Nani her eyebrows convey a subtle hard edge - which kinda makes sense with Nani, since she already knows the responsibility of being a big sister and supporting a family, and now she has to support both of them amid the post-apocalypse (since as physically capable as Stitch is, he's still kind of a child Lilo's age mentally).

Wow, what a fascinating concept you have attached to this picture to explain what's happening! :)
